How about a bacon milkshake to go with that BLT cheeseburger combo? Too much? Some folks think bacon makes everything better. At least that's what the folks at Jack in the Box have decided as they introduce their new bacon milkshake, the latest in the long line of eateries hoping to make bank on bacon. It seems trend will not die.
The shake — which, according to Jack in the Box is "as limited as limited can be" — is part of their new ad campaign, "Marry Bacon", which aims to pull at the heartstrings of swine lovers. The site features photos of grown men at the altar puckering up for their bacon burger brides and hideous looking bacon baby bundles of joy.
The bacon shake is made with vanilla ice cream and bacon flavored syrup and is topped with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. If you're worried about the calorie content, you should be. A 16 oz. shake contains 773 calories and 40 grams of fat — an additional 73 calories and 2 grams of fat above the plain vanilla shake of the same size. For those keeping track, the BLT Cheeseburger contains less calories and fat then both of those milky beverages, 649 calories and 36 grams of fat to be exact.
