I can't hear you over the sound of stirring my Celeriac and Potato soup, poser.

How is that soup? It's low on my list of recipes to try. Never even heard of celeriac and not a huge fan of potatoes. Not a poser, a newb

I've had it before at a bistro. It's pretty good, just another take on Potato soup.

One of the 2 star reviews says many of the ingredients are hard to find. Bummer.

2 star? Had it at a bistro? Hard to find ingredients? I'm cookin some gourmet shit here, not dropping 2 bills a night to have someone do it for me. I get it, you eat good in D.C. Now find me a risotto better than I made tonight and I'll stop picking on your love handles

I'm on this hippster douche bandwagon and fine with it...well I do feel like quite the homo sometimes when I have to ask if something has gluten in it. I would've punched myself a year ago for saying something like that.
    I can't believe you're a Glutard. I'm such a better Glutard than you.

For Christ's sake, he meant one of the 2 star reviews of the book on Amazon.

I stopped eating wheat, or any other complex carbs for about a month. I also stopped drinking beer and cut out all dairy except cottage cheese. I ended up loosing too much weight and had to start carbo loading in order to maintain 8% bodyfat. I didnt need or want to loose weight, I just wanted to see what all of the hype was about.

I really had no adverse health affects, besides my wife telling me I looked sick.

Two weeks = 12 lbs. Slept better and allergies subsided. Went from 232 to 220. Miss fruit loops though. If it has a label I'm avoiding it. Thanks to the OP for turning me onto it.

There's stuff called Clarity Ferm/Brewer's Clarex that reduces gluten to almost nothing in real beer. A new-ish local brewery uses it and the beer is great.
