Tiger is the favorite to win the Masters ( 5/1) at bookies in England, not sure in Vegas.
Tiger might win a major sweep this year. Olympic Club, and Royal Lyth / St Annes might fit right in to his strategy this year. He can go low in California on Poa.Terje was right.

For the record I have never hated or loved Tiger. Prolly like him more now than when he was winning. That being said, the guy has won 1 tournament lately and everyone thinks he's a lock for this. I don't think so.
But if he's in it on sunday it should be fun to watch.whatever I feel like i what to do!

Olympic is pretty twisty for Tiger. I was there in '98 and the trees and doglegs made him hit a lot of irons off the tee. Back then, when Tiger hit an iron, his ball sounded different than every other player's ball.
I'm sticking with 3-4 wins and maybe a major, assuming Tiger stays healthy and plays regularly. Rory or Mickelson could do the same, though. Hell, Mahan has the best shot since he's playing well and already has 2 wins.

Tiger is irrelevant, except for ESPN showing his tantrums when he hits shitty iron shots. Hopefully ESPN will stop showing his rounds of 71 when there are other, better golfers these days that are consistently at the top of the leader board.

Yeah!
Go Bill Haas, Nick Watney and Webb Simpson, and for a special treat, the media darling Jason (Mr. Personality) Dufner!!! Nobody is dominating like TW used to, dude was top five EVERY week. Didn't miss a cut for 142 weeks, etc... Looks like it is over, but he WAS the best - so that's why he's more interesting than the rest of the once every few years winners...... jfost is really ignorant, he often just needs simple facts laid out for him...

missing a cut means a golfer's career is over?
for sure he will not win with the consistency of the past, knee repair tends to slow anyone down.Terje was right.

Nahh. Sorry Das Blunt...Tiger's done for....and it ain't his knee either. Listen, I'm no golf pro, but I do know something about the human spirit...directly after his fiasco he was about as popular as Sandusky. When you lose that incredible amount of credit with your fans and sponsors...it's gotta affect your game.....and Tiger, he went from being a beloved posterboy of golf to being hated by half his fan base.
Sure....because he DOES still have awesome talent that I truly don't think Micholson or Rory or anyone else can touch, he'll still pull off a win here and there...but the TIGER we all knew is gone and I doubt will ever be back. It's not just about mechanics of swing....it's about spirit...and all the practice in the world won't bring that back.
Tiger's present image might be tarnished by his off-course misdeeds....but the fact that he brought golf to a new level and gave it new life will never be tarnished. When Tiger was at the top of his game, everyone else always knew they were playing for #2.....like racing against Secretariat.
But also like Secretariat...them days is gone.
