This totally sucks!!!
Okay, we've got a shitload of snow falling in Eastern PA. And because PENNDOT sucks donkey balls, the roads are pretty much unpassable. My fifteen minute drive home from work took an hour. I considered braving the elements and going out tonight, but it would probably take five hours to drive there- and noplace to go after the lifts close.
Might have to do some backyard jibbing tonight."There is a hell of a huge difference between skiing as a sport- or even as a lifestyle- and skiing as an industry"

I drove yesterday - Whitetail and back. Spun out the Suby into the median, and almost hit a sign. Luckily the car is ok, and the airbags did not deploy.

Well, I was hoping to write up a sick TR of my Pocono Powder Day, but it never happenned. When you go from blizzard to bluebird in twelve hours, the change in pressure creates some pretty intense wind. I swear, at one point the wind was so strong I actually blew UP the hill (it was only a few inches, but still, that's pretty sick wind). So by the time I got to the hill, any pow was either skied off or blown off (there were bare spots in the trees, just to give you an idea)
I think I jinxed myself by watching Immersion before bed last night.Last edited by Plakespear; 01-23-2005 at 08:49 PM.

You know, I have to thank NJ Governor Codey for declaring a state of emergency and closing the roads to non-essential vehicles...
...probably the safest drive I ever had on the way to Mountain Creek!
...and if somebody tried to tell me that I was non-essential, I would've gone angry whelk on him!
