And for what it's worth, it's much better now than it was in late August.

So I'm coming out to Salt Lake for job stuff monday-wed. What should I do because I'm not bringing my skis. The only threads that I found moved quickly to subject of masturbation. So far its looks like jazz/cavs game because, well tickets are $7. Any ideas or shit to do/eat?

    Canyons out of water?

Seriously. If that is the case, it will be ugly for Talisker. It takes alot of snow blow to keep that low strtch to the base open under the gondola. I actually feel sorry for their employees if that is true. Damn.

NO! In fact, just yesterday I saw a big tiger trout come and eat something off the top, it was crazy! who wants to take the bubble hash express up and do some fishing?

I got these turns up at desolation lake, but it was more of a struggle than anything.

What an unconsolidated mess. If there was more support, and snow there could have been some good corn skiing right now.

Hahah sounds like more fun than the skiing has been latily PROVO. So having the pond ready for paddlebaters is more importain than having snow on the ground. What they cant refill the pond later in the season. You have got to love the canyons.

That pond was pretty f'ing low when I was last up there on NYE. I saw that 9990 is somehow open, but I think I'd rather bring my bike up than my skis.

PSA: Boot deep pow can still yield face shots.

This morning was surprisingly fun despite every gaper north of SLC coming out of the woodwork. Saw a couple instructors taking a whole pack of little groms out of bounds today to ski rocks and bushes. WTF?

    PLEASE DON'T STOP SNOWING!!!!!
All I know is that I don't know nothin'... and that's fine.

I'm Not surprised the can's business is up... they have had double digit growth ever year since the 90's, partly due to the expansion, being the 'new kid' in town, and the fantastic care Goar takes with not just the BJ but all the thoughtful cupping and fondling of balls. It's all about the attention to detail for the new "Canyons' and their high-end clientel wouldn't have it any other way.
full disclosure: I actually like Goar, He stood up for me once when I was about to get railroaded and lose my pass, but I can't let a good joke go

actually were a few decent patches off 9990... but as soon as you started to get excited you made your next turn into rock hard crust. It still sucks out there, but it was funny to see how stoked people were this morning over 2". I guess 2 inches is the new 2 feet.

Today was a lot more fun than expected on the rock skis at Snowbird. Some pretty sketchy sidesteps and traverses but there were good turns and even a few faceshots to be had. A step in the right direction at least. Oh and LCC road when it's snowing still really sucks.

Talked to someone that owns a local bakery that does a lot of wholesale to the hotels in Park City. She said PC is getting killed due to cancelations, vacancy rate is like 70% right now.
