I am still confused where the slide happened. Any theories or accounts? The report mentions Circlet & Moat lakes, which is where Al Edward is, but it also mentions Strata mountain. Someone else said it was the slope facing Mount Wash where the original ski hill was supposed to be located. Any theories or ideas?

I'm sure you have details by now, but if not, here is the one you probably mean:

Washington was lots of fun today. 22cm new and 41cm in 48hrs. You could feel the firm bottom in most places but the sun made an appearance in the afternoon, so good times.
In typical Washington fashion it got a little heavy towards the end of the day. Still nice to have a good reset; you could tell people were jonesing to get some fresh by how quickly everything got tracked (maybe its just been a while for me but I don't remember it being that bad).
Based on the report looks like Cain would have been sweet as well.

Be out there next weekend.....keep on snowing.
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

A few HUGE pics from Mt. Becher yesterday. Snow was good, but only at around 1000m and above.

Anyone have any beta on Sutton Pass? Drove through there today and there appeared to be some lines to be had.

Yah, raym and I have been poking around out there a few times. Unfortunately, we have had little success as the approaches are killer. Nevertheless, we are starting to figure it out, so its just a matter of time. Mt. Klitsa will go down soon enough.
I know some people have had success out that direction. Hopefully they can chime with more specific info.

Anyone up at Washington today? Was it storming all day? Looks like there should be some good accumulations tonight. Trying to decide if it will be worth the drive tomorrow morning.

snowed most of the day today and its stormin here in CR right now. Was pretty damn good inbounds and slack was stellar. Might be your last chance at a full on deep day for a while by the looks of the forecast...
Avy crew has been doing a hell of a job so far this season as well so anticipate shit should be open up fairly early.
It is honkin pretty good though with 80k winds expected but spossed to drop by morning. You dont stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing

Hey there. A crew of us are heading out to the Island from the Kootenays for the weekend. Going up to Cain for the weekend but we are wanting to do a tour somewhere else Friday before heading up. Wondering what's good? Forbidden Plateau? How far up Pass FSR can you drive right now on Arrowsmith, I've worked around there a lot in the summer and have always wanted to put some turns down up there. Anyone been up Arrowsmith lately know the conditions?
What elevation do things start getting good at right now? Been wanting to ski over on the island for years, stoked for the next few days!
