I never skied Sugar but did a few mtn bike races there. This makes my old home mtn of Snowshoe, WV look like Chamonix.

There's a whole page on how to attach a lift ticket:

Apparently this has been a problem.

I can't believe it doesn't open for another hour! Was looking forward to a nice Christmas present.
At least they are grooming it back down to a nice layer of dirt. Should be entertaining when it opens.Last edited by TOLOCOMan; 12-25-2011 at 09:08 AM.

Turned it on just in time for the last few mins of the day. Got to see a kid go skidding off the white ribbon of death and go ~10ft through the grass and into the woods, as well as a collision between a rookie knuckle dragger and an equally clueless Gorilla-Steeze skier fully hunched over. Lots of blue jeans crossing my screen. Oops... there goes another gromet comet into the grass/mud.

It's like watching a car crash in slow moe.... Horrible, but I can't turn away...

The best is watching night skiing... not only do they ski on the same shit from earlier in the day, but now they have snow guns strategically placed in the middle of the run so you won't be able to see a damn thing.

What's really depressing is that they had more motivation to ski today than I did.....

It's dark and snowmaking guns are on.
It could always be worse, I guess; I could be anywhere in the South.
The Bible Belt makes an Ethiopian famine look desirable. (yes, I know it's Christmas. I hope you're having a nice time. I genuinely wish you the best. Despite my interwebz personality, I'm a happy retard. Oh, I guess that's my interwebz personality. Yes, I've been drinking again.)
EDIT again: for some reason I thought this was Sugar Bowl. I didn't realize this was NC. How appropriate.)

Nice work on posting this. I just saw a snowboarder run into the slow skiing sign. Then he fell 10 feet after he got up. Classic!

Looking particularly grim today. I think it was raining earlier.
