My 7 yr old really progressed this year!! She did great on Steins and Ripcord at Sugarbush and is now planning to ski every on the map.

4 yr old really stepped it up too but I gotta strengthen her legs and kick the habit of resorting to the pizza pie.

I bet we skied in the rain 6 days this year and missed our MLK trip due to Covid. Kids were troopers!!

Owen is pretty stoked. He skied with Kai Jones and Parkin Costain at Eaglecrest yesterday, and Tim Durtschi the day before.
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.

Am I the only mag forcing my kid to snowboard ? Haha

7 year old Mini Hatch has had a roller coaster season, as she had to break some bad habits, but has really progressed in recent weeks. Today was her first time linking turns top to bottom. That toe edge is brutal for the groms to figure out!

My 12 year old daughter beat me by 6 1/2 gates at the season end party. Equal parts me sucking and her ripping.

That is what we do it for, right? After my 14 year old's last freeride comp run he dragged me over to the head to head course off Jersey Cream at Blackcomb and beat me by 2 seconds on an 18 second course. I am just glad he still waits for me at the bottom.

Well 21/22 has been a mixed bag for my offspring.

Oldest took a high speed Slalom_Tokyo_Drift worthy crash into b-net early season, tore some elbow ligaments and had a rough season struggling with confidence back on snow.

Upside is I got some really fun pow days with her this year though.

Youngest crushed it this year. Lots of podiums, more than a few on the top step.

And she firmly cemented status as the fastest and best freeskier in the family as well.

I hope your oldest heals completely, physically and mentally. Crashes at speed can really do some damage to both. At least there was pow to be skied.
