I like your picture bro!
Here's me & my boy at age 4 weeks old, spinning laps on the Poma at Mammoth.
Fast forward 14 years. On the ski team & out carving some turns at Mt. Rose.
Age 16 off the High Traverse at Alta last month. I'm barely faster than him now. Apparently my "reckless" parenting from the 1st pic hasn't scarred him too badly, as he's pretty stoked on skiing.

Had our first and only race day today due to Covid. 4 GS runs. My dude got 4 firsts in his age group and was top 5 among all age groups for every race! Super proud dad!

I'm mostly stoked that my kid wants to ski as much as I do, this year.

U 10 beat all the 12’s as well...sister is a U12 who crashed hard on her first run and had it dialed back a bit.
Most importantly having fun

My kiddo had her first race of the season today, I don't know how she did yet as far as time or placement (assume I'll find out soon).
I will say that this was the first race of hers (this is her 3rd year) where she didn't just look like a kid skiing through gates, today she looked like a kid ski racer, racing (and she felt that too). If that makes sense. So in my book, she won today. Psyched for her!"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ

Anti stoke this time. Oldest went down training GS on Sunday. Fracture through her growth plate on the left tibia, sprain of MCL. No weight bearing fir 6 weeks. She pretty devastated. Went to training to watch her sister last night, good to see her friends and coaches....sucks to see your kids hurt

Bummer. Vibes to mini-detrusor number one.

Damn that sucks, it's always a concern with the kids in the racing program.
Wishing for a full recovery and return to form.

Sunny and hot means park day. Landed his first 360 and had this steezy double ball grab.
