Great skiing otherwise, for a day when I didn't almost kill Harry.
Still wanting to get over there fyi Talisman. Working through PT due to a pinched nerve issue so shooting for maybe next month as I get stronger again. You boys keep shredding and posting stoke and hope to hook up soon.

Lots of folks did blow off work, the lot was full. Great to see. Doesn't seem to get tracked out regardless, at least not my stashes. Such a fun place on days like today.

Also: where is a good lodge to hang out with the kid when not skiing?
Most people tending kids just hang out on the upper floor of the mountain mall in the cafeteria or brown bag rooms. Check out the iRanch up there, they got a few games to play etc. Hungry Moose deli on the first floor has treats and snacks.

Today was fat and decent at Bridger.

Maybe 6-8" of fresh? I had boot deep turns all day, with snow consistency that was bouncy and pretty fun.

Lots of people showed up, but I didn't even bother to ski Slushman's, so I couldn't tell you about any lines.

Morning flakes turned into Bluebird pow by about 12 p.m.

More snow is good, but man are my legs roasted from the last two days. I guess they are gonna get more roasted.

Today was great. Got my ass up there extra early expecting a big crowd. Got on the 3rd bucket and had a great run in second gully. Briefly saw bunion and then went hiking. Good skiing over there too. After lunch poked around in Marb Country. Damn, there is some burly shit in there.

Excellent skiing today and if felt less crowded than a bunch of week days this past month. Weird.

I also was expecting throngs today and it was busy but not crowded. A lot of places that track out early were holding fresh snow in the mid afternoon. The Headwaters lift for example was ski on and the general area had great snow. Fingers crossed for more snow tonight.

Bridger Gully Freeride today - skip ahead to 1:30 in the video. I don’t know what that kid was planning on that air but it was awesome - assuming he’s ok

That looked like a trip straight to the ER. Hard to tell from that angle, but it looks like he came down right on the nose of that rock.

Dang, that was a hard hit on the rock, no good.

N1CK, those clearly look like alpine bindings. Plus if he was tele there would have been a backflip thrown in

Spent a half day at GD today with the soon to be ex-wife (we still enjoy skiing together). The snow was very very good, and plenty of fresh pow, had a great time. The most people I have seen up there this year, glad they are getting some business finally.

As far as I know, nobody was (seriously) hurt at the freeride this year.

Another great ski day at the really big. Crowds were non existent even at Swifty at 10:30 AM. A reliable source told me that Big Sky had filled every bed with paying guests. Fluffy snow was easy to find in the usual spots and the only substantial line was the for the tram.

I am too busy being the unofficial mayor of this town. I heard Talisman was going to wear a tutu and represent the maggots.

I’d rather sell Arizona to Mexico.
