Yeah I rode MTB far south of town and saw 3 other bikers on the climb and had a wide open rip on the entire downhill. It was fucking amazing. LOTS of fucking trails out there. Just gotta poke around. I'm still learning.
Also, dawn patrol is your friend.

This is the best point so far. It's like going to the park: it doesn't take more than 10 minutes to get away from everyone else and once you've been out there, it can be jarring to come back to the car.
Serious question because I'm an idiot: the checkerboard situation is a mess but what's to stop someone from arguing that they jumped from one public allotment to the next, never having set foot on private land? Air rights?

I had one beer in Bozeman 2day. In that time I saw 1 Ferrari, 1 G-wagon, 9 Porsche 911s(maybe an older 944) and a couple thousand sprinter vans. But yeah check out hellmouth couloir or go ski the blaze bro. Triple tree was cool though.

That is some stoke.
I don't have any idea what this winter will bring but at least none of us live East of the Mississippi.I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

So, um when is all the indoor shit where people don't wear masks (ie every single bar, brewery, restaurant) gonna be closed again? Thanks!
Signed,

We never shoulda let the fish run in the first place, but you prolly wouldn't have sold much real estate with a travel ban. So here we are. Lil bump to the local economy= lil bump in covid numberz. Seems about right to me.

2012 SW Montana Conditions, Stoke and Whatev Thread
Had a nice, busy weekend camping and biking with a solid group of friends I’ve met on here.
Friday and Saturday, I got out with Cliffhucker, who doesn’t post on here much, but runs things down at the Hellroaring Ski Hut in Island Park.
We took down the yurt and checked to see if bears had eaten any more chainsaw oil this year. They had not.
Sunday, I got to tag along with Usdatele and Nest, as they blew my mind with some hairball biking up in the Gallatins. We saw very few people, even though Hyalite parking areas was swarming. Even got rained on for a nice touch.
Really thankful to all these guys for showing me the ropes in many ways.Last edited by SUPERIOR; 07-14-2020 at 06:08 AM.

Any local maggots had an antibody test yet? Looks like only place to get the Abbot test (through Quest) is in Billings. Website claims to have a Bozeman draw location, but when you try to schedule online it says no appointments for over 30 days.
