Full-on blizzard at RLM. Coming down hard. Drifts to foot deep already. Lift rides blow (literally) but snow is just fine.

Currently stuck on highway 20 just outside island park. Wreck? Windy as hell but no snow. Just spent two glorious days in Moab. Doesn't look like the skiing is all that great. I'm ready for more sun after a nice taste the last two days.

What's the base like up there - is it frozen and locked up under the new snow? Or still a winter pack on north faces?

Was stopped about 3 miles from the turn for 87. Looked like the winds had drifted snow on the open road just east of henrys lake. Two semis got themselves off the road despite mostly dry pavement.

Deep pow on the south face all day long. Guess you donít know where to go yet. Mostly locals in the tram line. Have chatted with some rad April pass JH skiers the last couple days.

I hear Leadville has shorter lines.

Keep the updates coming. I might bring the lanyard to the tram on my way home from the Canadian Rockies.

A little jazzed about the upcoming week. Wife and I leaving all of the B.S. out east and are flying into SLC this weekend. We're making the pilgrimage to B.S. of Montana for the upcoming week. Flying into Bozeman is just too pricey for my wallet non-Ikon wallet. Looking forward to any chats and meets on the lifts or barstools that may arise. I do appreciate the fact that this originated a 2012 thread. =)

About 2 inches up here this morning, and still lightly snowing. Today should be great.

You must have gotten a screamer deal to fly into SLC and then rent a car and make the drive up here.

Leaving for the really big in 3 minutes. Muddy water can wait.
