Just before the whiteout hit my phone went off with a NWS Snow Squall warning. Never had that happen before.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Those are definitely my hands, but agree, too flat for the K Chute.

I think SFB took that photo of me over on Deep South.

Deep south way too steep for that.

Thanks Talisman for the extra special chilis and taking me to the gnar. Thank you Harry (Harry for Mayor of Pig Sty 2020) for rollen out the red carpet and for being the fastest gaper on the mtn.

Today was a great day on the hill. Place was really not busy. High winds moved the snow around and where it was good it was really good. I demoed a friends pair of Praxis that he ended up selling me. Wow. Such great skis. They did everything I wanted.

A fun day of skiing at the really big today with some fresh snow overnight, refreshing breeze, reasonable crowds (the blackout seems to work) and even got to ski with Harry.

Does anyone have a BB pass or some vouchers I could buy off them? Looking to ski a bit in the next month, and my Big Sky pass is all blacked out this week

Fun skiing with Talisman, and like he said, blackout works. Minimal crowds.

Saw yeahman on Swifty at Last Chair. Talked for a bit. Always good to see him.

I had a bunch, but the Utah Crew used them up. Sorry.

Got on the NSS yesterday and today...pretty sweet. Things seem sort of back to "normal" terrain-wise, props to patrol. And it's cool they are keeping the tram open till 3:30.

How was it skiing? I hiked out to 4th Class yesterday and it looked like a windboard death trap. Dropped into AZs and it was some of the best turns of the year.

Yeah BS was fun. Even more fun was practicing with my new camera.

Light was shitty and so were my shots. But this is a whole new game and while I have a lot to learn, I'm super stoked on the process.

What camera did you get? Ski photos are tough as hell.

Friend is trying to convince me to sign up for FWQ 3* at Big Sky in March. Fuck. Nervous just thinking about it.

Nikon D500. This camera is sick.

And yeah, snow can be tricky but there are a lot of tools the camera has to help. Metering, histograms, etc. I just need to better understand how to use them and get comfortable with the camera.

I will get it figured out.

Oh and that's bad ass that you are even considering entering.

Road tripped to Bridger this weekend with the goal of showing my lady Bozeman's version of the 'bowl.

Was thankful that the report only said 2in this morning. Kept the crowds neutered most of the day, leaving plenty of fresh to go around.
