Went out Saturday for a quick lap which turned out to be much longer than expected. First time heading out of crosscut. Found a shack and had a different view of the small slide released on a ski cut in the trees north of Bradley’s on Thursday. Skin out was brutal with a bum knee and constant snow blocks on our skis. Glop stopper is now back in my pack.

How is the corn harvest going for folks?

I’m keen to go tomorrow (Thursday) but have been pretty bummed / disheartened this week with all the quarantine BS. Sick of solo skiing.

Anybody who wants to ski at a safe distance, shoot me a PM.

I went up for a quick BB ski this morning and was a bit too early, didn't have time to wait around. I'd guess the corn is probably coming ripe around 9:30-10am on S faces.

ya, seems like we have a small window for corn skiing in the bridgers right now. too early and yer knees are screaming, too late and yer manked. pinpoint that shit! the skiing north north on north flmr peak year round shred resort has been pretty good as long as you play the compass. i like to be told where to ski anyway.

dont know if other ppl care about john prine, but shit, he was one of the great songwriters. left us with a damn fine catalogue.

These sorts of actions seem so counterintuitive. Seems like it used to be common knowledge that spending time outside was good for you and that vitamin d boosts the immune system. Corona warrants caution and a bit of planning forethought to reduce your potential interactions with others, but cars parked at an outdoor trailhead aren’t going to start magically spreading corona. The only way to contract the virus is to touch an infected surface and then touch your face, or spend time in close proximity with an infected carrier, especially indoors. Both of those pretty hard to do outside as long you exercise some level of common sense.

I’m glad Montana has taken a different approach to outdoor recreation and I hope residents of other states start asking their leaders to present real scientific justification for these sorts of closures

Looks like a spring pooper rolling in Saturday. My knee is jacked from last weekend so I’ll have to sit it out. Hoping it produces for you all.

No corn was harvested today. 4" medium density. Upper quarter of bb had that east wind, but no real damage til the very top. Pretty good skiing, saw some wankers skinning up under hidden....

Can confirm that I like lethal weapon significantly more than die hard. Die hard #3 and 5 are sick, but the good cop/ bad cop of lethal weapon is dope.

In other news, yesterday was 1 yr from ACL surgery w obrien at apline! Wore a brace all season, stopped when the chairs stopped spinning. I'm totally stoked on the recovery so far.

And biking at lewis and Clark was pretty nice before the storm!

No pics from today, but I swear I went skiing, and watched leathal weapon 3.

    1) Your pup is superbly cute.

    2) My Newfie's dad's name was Riggs. Needless to say, the ugly duckling on the right looks a lot more like the one on the left these days.
