It needs to snow. Pretty much beat street up there. Lots of sharks coming to the surface.

Chairs on Ocho Grande and we could see it spinning from 4WD lot at 4ish before leaving.

That's about half the line. Those of us who are "lucky" enough to work on the beast this winter have operations training on the beast tomorrow morning. Still gotta load test and shit, plus minor terminal tweaks. No official opener date announced yet but it's getting mighty close. Should have a date announced by big sky soon.

Also sixer and lone tree open tomorrow. Pretty boney towards the bottom but I bet lone tree will be riding mighty nice

BBI? Sorry, just joined the board within the last few months... have seen it posted a couple/few times, but still not sure what the meaning is.
I'm not sure if Big Sky is in the cards this year, but my wife and I have ridden 9 days at Big Sky the previous 2 seasons (5 days last year, 4 the year prior). Love it there.

There are periodic summits and min-summits when mags gather at certain mountains. Last year there was a summit at Bridger Bowl and BS, that was reported to be fabulous and there are pictures if you scroll back far enough.

Had some fun and found good chalky snow off the Ridge at the little hill to the north today.

Considering it hasn't snowed for a bit the skiing is quite good. Snow tonight could make things amazing.

Edit: today was my 4th graders first of two school ski days. I was a chaperone but had a bit of free time while the kids took lessons so a few other parents went for a hike with me.

Just a heads up since none of you guys know this, but those mountains to the Northeast are called the "Crazies." Apparently Jeremy Jones was the first person to ever ride there. Might be worth checking out but I assume you need a helicopter.
