I totally agree. Sounds like Big Sky on Saturday, I was on my fourth Lenin lap by 11 a.m. I'll take the chalk with a couple inches any time if it means no tram line. I love those days.

Looks like Bridger is lined up for a right-side-up spackling tonight, with 40F and rain shifting to 20F for the low... 3-7" tonight, 2-4" tomorrow.

    Hope it turns out.

I need a new camera Norse, hopefully in the next month or two...The hill is sitting pretty well right now, and I am stoked that most of my orthopedic issues seem to be in temporary remission, woo hoo! That's a clear sign the ol' carcass is ready for another round of abuse. I am very excited for things to get spackled and for a good shot at doing some of my favorite south facing inbounds lines this week! We didn't have too much of a south facing season last year, I miss it. South face season is the best! (Anti Jinx, all we need is to make it to about 1/3 of what noaa predicts.)

6 am report: I have 9 inches in my driveway up here at 7,500 feet. Bring your fat skis up to the Really Big Resort and have a really good time.

Note to self. Don't look at this thread before going to work.

It's fuggin deep out there. Got massive faceshots on my snowmobile coming down hangmans after startup this morning then threw the skis on and took a quick rice bowl lap before public and got stuck in the flats blazing trail haha. Nice and dense but not too heavy, and with the wind there should be lots of free refills!

That was first rate skiing today.

Heard a woman on the chair complaining about the heaviness.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Heaviness keeps you afloat and the sharks at bay. Glad to hear the new snow had some body. Hope it sticks to the scree.

Indeed, it was about 10%, not heavy in my book, just meaty enough to cover the past weeks sun and wind damage and fill in the bumps.

Yo Bish! When will Lone Moose be back up and running? It was a crime to look at those unblemished trails on the way down the spur road.

^^ rumor is that Lone Moose has a burned up motor and won't be fixed this year. Obviously Swiftybich is in a better position to comment that a rumor-spreader like me. Too bad, Bobcat & Grizzly are legit runs that nobody ever goes to on a powder day.

If that is the case, I'm guessing she's not in a position to comment at all.

A lift mechanic working on the Lone Moose drive motor told me that the motor was rewound over the summer and the shop in Billings is on the hook for a repair. A "road" was plowed to bare dirt to get to the lift.
