My heart goes out to all of you that new Tone. I read a lot of his posts in here. He seemed like the kind of guy I would call "friend" and ski with IRL. RIP and thoughts to loved ones and all those who did have the pleasure to know him. Sad, sad day.

I send my sympathy to all who new Tone. One of you mags mentioned to me at BBI18 Boze (Norseman?) that maybe he and I would become friends as we seemed akin; now sad to never know.

I have lost a handful of friends this way and many times have sung the following with friends and family. I offer it here as a testament to Him, the MT. Crew and all of the rest of us Ski Bums...

Tony lived whole hearted and sincerely. He was a passionate and dedicated ski bum and backcountry partner. I feel fortunate to have been able to spend so many days out there with him. He has afforded me a shitload of amazing memories.

I have 6 or 7 inches in my driveway at 7,500 feet. Get out and lay down some tracks for Tony.

Whiteroom Guardian: saw you in the Sunday morning lineup, called out your IRL name a few times but you were several lanes over. I was in the single's line and ended up 2 chairs behind you up Swifty.

Git sum man! I really wanted in there when I was down for the BBI extended tour but they didn’t open until the day after I left, my luck.
