Been nursing some major heel pain for a couple of days. No clue what happened but woke up yesterday and couldn't walk.

Y'all have fun and share some pics. I'll be sitting today out

Went mountain biking yesterday. It was actually warm and dry out near Cardwell.

Makes it damn near impossible to get in the truck and drive down to ski.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Plantar fasciitis? When you tried to put your foot down on the floor your heel wouldn't go down all the way?

I think it was just a tender spot on my heel. While not 100%, it was much better today.

And while I would've loved to have been skiing, I did have fun cruising around taking photos.

Definitely variable out there. South facing stuff was frozen sun bake under the new goo. Gonna be some heavy chop skiing tomorrow so don't bring your Dynafiddle setup.

The north side held a legit 6-7 inches of high moisture snow. Shady spots skied really well, high lines and trees. Lines built at Lone Tree and the 6 shooter, yet untracked was easy to find.

Great day touring out in the back of beyond. Spun 3 laps at 1200’ plus the 3200’ return to the sled. That little spring break sure helped the base out. Excellent snow conditions from 8k’-10k’. A wee bit greasy below. Anything below 7k’ by afternoon was hot garbage, but what else would you expect. Some wild wet slide debris to travel over down low.

So Friday at the Big will probably be a shitshow of epic proportions. I wonder how many people caught on to the free lift ticket thing?

Is the ride with Jake thing only for snowboarders or are two plankers getting in on the deal?

Grease pow / dust on crust / death moguls today at the Big. Tram line was manageable. Dumping as I left. Tomorrow could be good...

BB was fun this AM, viz kinda sucked at times but nice soft snow. Lots of spring breakers, I think a good part of Minnesota was there.
