Boyne did announce where the Gold Pass parking will be.

200 spots in rows A-E or there about. 1st come 1st serve with a lot attendant. I doubt I will ever use it as I generally come in on Sitting Bull and grab a spot near the 4x4 lot.

Painful day down there today, it was damn warm and wet. I called a friend around noon and caught him on route looking at the Gullies. "Everything up high is closed" He sounded excited and said "Big Shit is ripping out."

I wished him well and to be safe.

I was nearly up to my knees in mud today and the Gallatin looked like shit tonight. Liquid baby shit.

It actually skied pretty damn good today if your timing was right. Bowl was good for a couple and then caught a gullies before they went liberty only. Line got short and it was a good liberty but brutal middle road. Tomorrow gonna be real interesting

I did my pass over the phone, super helpful guy got me all set up and I really felt bad when I asked about the Gold Pass parking. Still no idea what or where so the employee is left holding the shit end.

Lets just say I am skeptical. Fuck it, the more the merrier.

If you look at the temps and SWE it makes perfect sense. Alpine station BB.

Looks like a wet dump followed by a little rain. I don't know if BB had as many warm sunny days as Snowbowl did in March, but it's just hard to imagine this being much of a stress for main skied runs/infrastructure this late in the season(obviously all the steep stuff would be prone to pin balling & sluffing). Maybe I just underestimate how cold it stays over there.

In PNW this would be called "good for the base".

Was stopped about 3 miles from the turn for 87. Looked like the winds had drifted snow on the open road just east of henrys lake. Two semis got themselves off the road despite mostly dry pavement.

Deep pow on the south face all day long. Guess you don’t know where to go yet. Mostly locals in the tram line. Have chatted with some rad April pass JH skiers the last couple days.
