^^^ Funny, I was thinking that very same thing today.

That frontside climb is brutal. Usually cause when you park at the TH you start straight up and then it gets steep for a while.
Riding from Goose at least give you some warm up.

    Hmmmmmm???

Chestnut is definitely overgrown w tight turns.... I've only been biking a handful of years and dont go mach speeds yet. But I do like the shuttle- able downhills. Rode grassy Saturday w at least 420 ppl in the parking lot, but not too many on the trail. Then did a shafthouse afterwards, absolutely no one and near perfect dirt. Also rode dry cr the other day, at least 14 trees over the upper section of trail that I couldnt man handle outta the way. Kept thinking, "I might like west pine more..."

Exactly. Ride from Goose gives you a chance to have some warmth in the legs before hitting the the climb. Same with Stone Creek. I always park down by the road so that I have some road warmup.

Thanks for the beta on N Dry Creek, I will avoid that until a saw crew gets after it.

That was funny the day you were in my office and I asked “hey buddy, do you have change for a nickel ? “. Your eyes were as big as saucers ! Look forward to seeing you again, stay safe.

The store is a half block down from Cactus Records on the north side of main. They had free beers last night. Tiny little ski movie theater, but nobody clamoring to sit down and watch, obviously.

Good question. I used to ski with him whenever we would bump into each other at BB. You know him personally?

    I'm a moron.

How fun. We can now all shop for our TGR-branded needs locally without the hassle of ordering online.

So if they'll show TGR archival films for free, could I give 'em 10 bucks to show my VHS of Thirteen on the big screen? Hell, I'd pay $20 for that.

Hey, I bought TGR dead tie-dyed shirt! Just trying to get into the spirit, ya know?

Shit, they gave me free beer, stickers, a pair of knock off sunglasses, chapstick... locals discount too. Not bad!

They’re going to rent the theater out for private showings. Not sure any of the kids in there are old enough to know what VHS is though.

They should re-release all the TGR films on Laserdisc.

Looks like just a couple lines left to rodeo out in the Northern Bridgers. What a beautiful day to scout them!

Probably 100 cars up at the Fairy Lake Parking area yesterday, so I opted to avoid the crowds and check out Frazier Basin instead of Sacajawea.

For those that ride near town, say farewell to Moser Jumpoff.

Rode that today to Shootout and back from the Moser TH. The Jump Off has been marked up for fuels reduction and I am guessing the old logging roads that had reverted to single track will be used to haul the harvested logs out. RIP.

Stone > Brackett > Stone yesterday. Just freaking gorgeous out. Partly cloudy with rumbles in every direction and I managed to get hit with only 3 raindrops all day.

right on, sorry to bother you man!

carry on... hope life is alright.

i was thinking of previous seasons and posts within this thread (and the old bbowl thread which was so kickass for a while) and felt sentimental about the scene i guess.
