The cool morning may have kept the crowd at home as it there weren't many people in the typical lift lines. Six Shooter was ski on, Ram 8 was a 3 or 4 bubble wait and Swift was maybe 6 chairs. A sunny bowl with a little spin drift was fun. I was expecting a lot more people.

Busy at BBowl today but less crowded than expected. Showing up at 1:00 and getting a spot in C lot made things extra easy. The skiing itself is a touch on the Eastern side but we can't have everything.

Just moved to Bozeman from Denver and looking ski/ride inbounds and out with folks. If you're interested in a tour or a day at Bridger or Big Sky let me know. Avy 1 course, not slowest person on a splitboard (not fastest either) and like to drink beer in parking lots.

Been busy all week with family and Xmas stuff but got out for a hike today. Up high it actually felt like winter.

Felt good to be back out.

I can't compete with the HarryCam for dramatic views of Madison County, but it snowed 2 inches at 6800 feet last night and it is a sultry 22*F. I will be out looking for change and fresh lines later today. Happy New Year!

The stoke was high but honestly waking up feeling a bit meh. Guess we'll take whatever we can get at this point.

Regardless, I'm heading down to spin a few laps. Beats going to the gym and maybe we can squeeze out another couple inches.

Some real beaters up here today. Right after I snapped this pic and put my phone in my pocket dude in yellow skied maybe 100 feet down the bunny slope and faceplanted. Double ejected. I should have stopped and taken another pic. But I wanted to get away from these people.

Good attire for hot boxing the Lunar Escape Module shack. Hard to tell from these pics but Space Man’s onesie is shiny silver metallic with NASA logos.

There are more than one "John Glenn" fan boys at Big Sky this week! Rode the lift yesterday with a middle aged gent from CA who was also rocking the silver onesie, but had enough ski skills to get on and off the lift without face planting.

Made the trek down and managed the 1st cabin of the Decade. It was rather uninspiring, between 4 and negative 4 inches of wind affected new snow that was rather grabby. It may have improved once it was torn up but I didn't see many locals heading back for another lap. The bowl was ok and Lone Tree was good albeit thin.

    Home now for some Futbol.
