Oy. The easy answer is go biking if it's nice. But...there was some decent blown-in sugar snow on some aspects today because it was windy. Skiing with my wife I was not really free to seek where I wanted to go. Tomorrow it's just me and my kids so I have higher hopes. Definitely want to check out Challenger, HW and tram and find the goods. Tram opened after lunch today and I had a sneaking suspicion snow was blowing into Liberty, but wife was not into it so rather than be my usual selfish jerk I stuck with her and mostly skied groomers.

Lets link up when you get back to town. Might be able to pull off a pass around the new year.

Sheetrock and setting toilets, I'll pay just about anything to get away from those. Jesus I hate those two jobs.

Hanging sheetrock isn't too bad. Taping/mud/sanding kinda gets old after like 10 minutes though.

Ha...what you maximum amount of sheets? During the recession I did 32 sheets. Never again, I probably would have made more money per hour working at McDs. Never again.

My plumber charges, $180 to assemble and set a toilet. I pay it with a smile to get away from the liability in multi-family.

Drywall on ceilings is awful, better now with premixed compound, screws and hoists versus ring nails, hand mixed joint compound and T props.

What is the best roof edge, roof pitch transitions (dormers) and valley snow melt system for high snow fall areas? Asking for a friend in West Yellowstone who wants a proven system for his new standing seam rood.

Went up to the Ramp today and it was better than expected for the most part. The lack of new snow has me thinking I should roam over to the Missoula thread and pick a fight as a way to pass the time.

For as grim as it was today, the views were nice.

I love Flippers, for as easily accessible as it is it always seems like there's good snow in there.

The upslope wind grooming on Liberty today made for a pool table smooth surface with sugar snow. Top was a little rough but the bottom 2/3 was good enough for the girls and I to keep going back for more. Walk on tram was nice too. Couldn't figure out why nobody was skiing it. Cooler was open too, looked ok.

Be nice to get more terrain open up there but from the looks of things from Shedhorn lift we are at least a couple dumps away from that happening.

Agree, I went looking to buy a cup of coffee. Got confused upstairs by 4 seperate eating/shopping areas. Which one sells coffee for under $10 a cup ?? Ended up going downstairs and got a cup at the Moose. Maybe “Vista Hall” will grow on me, so far it is a solid fail.

Well, forget that dump and come join me for some turns in Red Lodge this week! I'm back home in MT for Christmas! Glad to be back home but where the snow at? Skied Wolf Creek a couple days back. Seems that Southern CO is hogging all the goods right now.

Good to hear! Thanks for the intel. I'll go no matter what but I think we're due for a bit of some fresh stuff on Christmas day! Fingers crossed!

Indeed we have the potential for a Christmas miracle just like four or five years back. 20% chance of very little snow turned into three feet on the summit. Similar forecast for tomorrow night.
I'll be "working", blue work uni jacket blue helmet, flaming yellow Roxas and skiing Hart F17s unless it snows, in which case Legend 106s. If you need beta on which runs are doing best hit me up.
