But the Mountain Mall won't be open yet. Who the hell would want to go skiing if you can't get hand-rolled sushi for lunch ?

New idea. Sell gas station sushi w/ the appropriate mark ups from a Subaru Outback with Grateful Dead stickers on it. PBRs too.

I could never figure out why the conoco sold anything other than breakfast burritos and monsters in the morning and road sodas in the afternoon.

Hit a quick lap this morning at Bridger. Got in early enough for a prime spot in the upper lot. Ran into GNFAC guys digging some pits and made it back to the car before it got “crowded.”

But it will be busy up there today as Bozeman turns out for 1st tracks. 18" base at mid-mountain.

Thanks man. Waiting for a definitive from a buddy so might be first week after new years. As long as it's not EC weekend busy, I think I"ll be ok with that lol.

Looking into the crystal ball, NY day is a Wednesday, if that means you will be around on the week of the 6th it will be comparatively quiet.

True fact: that Conoco sells more PBR Cubes than any other retailer in the state. Hands down, not even close. Got that Intel from the beer truck driver.

We had to have the laborers shovel the empties out of the meat wagons every day. Holy shit some of those rigs were making a stop at the conoco and then the exxon in gateway to reload.

That will make them crystals grow.

I will delay my departure to the Really Big accordingly.

Get a Bowl pass anyways. You get "half day" rate at every ski area in the state that offers it, as far as I know. Plus its 20 minutes away and you DO NOT WANT to wait to get a lift ticket on days when it is good. The lift ticket line at the Bowl is its own special shitshow.

It was Oct. 28 and these turns happened at the town skinning facility.
