The interstate on the way to Big Sky was solid ice today and there were some flip overs but I persevered and got to ski some really great snow (seemed about 14" new) particularly off of Lone Tree. Still blows me away how quickly Big Sky gets hammered on pow days. Of course it is the weekend.

Weird storm, but it's the end of March and it's still skiing like mid-winter. No complaints from me! Good skiing with you today, swimmy and WRG.

Had to stand in line for about 2 hours for delays before I could ski, but Bridger delivered the deepest snow I’ve seen all season (Whitefish missed every big storm).
definitely wasn’t the 7” they reported in the morning, I’d say double that on the Bridger lift with drifting creating a bunch of deep patches. First run I got stopped in my tracks when I plunged into a drift that was almost to my chest.
not a bad first experience at BB, hope tomorrow is fun too.

If anybody else wants to go to Bridger tomorrow morning, I’ll be there early and hoping for some extra loading tonight!

Holy shit what a killer day at Bridger. I'll blow this thread up in a bit with some photos.

Bridger was unreal today. After the 1st wave of Schlas Vegas line, it died down quite a bit and we got some insane laps. Can't think of a deeper day... it was a real treat.

Yeah I never made it over to Slushmans. I bet it was incredible but I just didn't feel like dealing with the crowds.
I was second chair on Bridger. Punched a line right under the lift. It skied great and I got a few shout outs. I felt like a bad ass. : )
Stopped near the bottom of Bronco and grabbed a shot. Yeah, it was good.
Skied a few more laps then met up with BobbyBill and his wife for a hike. Very few folks were hiking. I guess they were all over on Slushmans?
It was lights out. Absolute fantastic skiing.
Bobby showed me a little sneak. Dang it was deep.
One of the better laps of the year for me.
Oh and on one of the hikes I met up with a group of first timers. Ended up showing 'em down and of course sent them home with a few souvenirs. Safe to say, they were stoked.
Skiing is the best.

Must’ve been deep if Bobby was skiing on the weekend AND broke out the goggles.
