^ looks quite acceptable. Will be at the Big Scree today, trying to squeeze in a full day before hauling up to Helena.

I’ll be wearing a brown jacket, blue pants, and red goggles. Ask for change.

I think I made some turns with Shredeagle and his kids today. Had some fun chasing these guys off every jump we could find.

Best weekend of the year for us. Superior hooked me up with some Praxis FRS (which might be the best ski ever), Bobbybill took some great photos of the kids, we hit some jumps with Total Immortal, then skied a power hour Bull Chute with Nest. What an awesome group of ski freaks on here. Kids are more stoked on skiing than ever and pretty much addicted to the High T. Full circle from where I was 25 years ago. The little one is kinda mad at me cuz I wouldn’t take him and his six buddies down psychopath, but I figured we should leave that one for USDA🤘

Hey all, what are condos renting for long-term in Big Sky? Wondering what a 2 bedroom, 2 bath walk to lifts is going for these days.

    Thanks.

I doubt if very many are in LTR so difficult to say. Best guess for 2 Bdr/2Bath would be in the $1700+ a month range.Name: Screenshot_2021-03-01 1279 Hill Condo Apartments for Rent in Big Sky, MT 59716 - Zumper.png

Not sure if Big Sky is the same, but there has been a dramatic increase in rent between May of last year and now here in Tahoe.

Also weird that a 2BR is significantly less than a 1BR. Suggests a small sample size maybe?

Anyone driving from Helena to Missoula this week (after 10am tomorrow, Tuesday) that would have room for a bike? I will make it worth your while.

2 bed 2 bath where you can walk to the lifts? I know nothing about the Big Sky rental market, but $1700 seems absurdly cheap for something like that unless it's infested with rabid skunks that also carry covid.

edit: craigslist shows a 2 bed / 1 bath that's somewhere down in the meadow for $2500 / month.

It was a good one, great way to close out a record February. Yesterday had an old school feel with Schlasmans closed and all the other lifts on wind hold, lots of hikes and high t laps. Revisited some places I hadn't skied in years. The ridge hike was the classic human-centipede.

My condo complex is in the Mountain Village, and while you could walk to the lift it is way easier just to ride the free ski shuttle. (Djongo claims it is a quarter mile walk). 2br/2ba are going for $3.5k-$4k for a 12 month lease. Owners doing short term are reporting $12k-$15k per month. This was a BIG issue at our annual HOA meeting. Accordingly, few are LTR.

An example: a 2br/2ba unit in my building sold for $430k 10 months ago and same unit just sold again last week for $750k.

WMD = feel free to send me a PM, I have more info I don’t want to put online.

A shot of a goat trying to graze in deep Big Sky powder. If you look carefully you can see some scree, so Head Waters isn't quite as deep as the BB Ridge.

Just back from down south. The Rip/Tears area went to the ground this morning, the N. Summit could conceivably not open this year. Big crowns in the Wave south and Hanging Valley as well. Good season for a SS Dir. to work on an ulcer.

The skiing was OK but nothing like the mags up at BB have been reporting.

Another slide to the rocks above the bowl from the Dirt Bag wall two days ago. There was some nice wind buff to ski in places today and thankfully light crowds. NSS was rumored to open today before the slide.

Yeah, you will not find any walkable LTR in Big Sky right now. Meadow is nearly impossible too. I have clients who were looking forever and eventually they just had to buy a condo for a place to crash while their dream home is being built in SP.

Bridger was fan freaking tastic today. Damn near empty all morning and the snow was still good. We did a Hidden, NW, and a Z. Perfect early spring bluebird pow. Can't beat it.

Was a fun weekend up narth. Challenging snow Saturday morning that skied better as the day progressed. Nice chalk on N aspects. Forgot how awesome the terrain off the ridge is, we didn’t end up hiking but was fun to see people hauling ass through some of those lines from Headwaters.

Sunday was pretty laid back, got out late on purpose with the intent of skiing through till the end of the day which paid dividends. Hero blown in pow later in the day on challenger with ski on chairs. It was hard to leave it.

You guys should start a separate real estate thread.

GS turns in Headwater's are pretty cool. That's all I got
