Showed a couple of cats from South Georgia around the hill today. Freinds of friends type thing. They don't get to ski that much and don't really care about conditions. They were just stoked to be out.

Yeah you may be able to get gouged for an 18 dollar PBR if stupid enough.
Or you could pay $ 180 - $ 229 for 7 hours of skiing, I think that the 18 dollar PBR may be the better deal.

Subject: Snow fencing
Good morning Troy,
I was down at Big Sky yesterday skiing in the sun and had a fine day. One bit of constructive criticism. In the past the patrol did some temporary snow fencing off the top of Challenger and Lone Tree to help build enough snow so that the rocks were not a complete hazard. Currently trying to ski the Lone Tree face or get to more adequate coverage on Challenger without equipment damage is pretty much impossible.
As a long time Big Sky patron I am willing to accept some pain from hitting the shale. Watching your guests who are not so familiar with Big Sky when it comes to skiing over rocks and their reactions leads me to believe that they are not quite as open minded.
5-6 rolls of snow fence would cost the Corp. maybe $ 750 bucks and some labor on the part of the patrol. Sounds like a worthwhile investment to me and less than the cost of 4 day passes.
Thank you.

Mario trying to find the stoke:
Good morning skiers and snowboarders,
This is Mario with your Big Sky snow report for Thursday, January 13th, 2022. The pressure is still high here in Big Sky, but so are the spirits. Our 40" mid mountain base has been doing us wonders getting us through this low tide spell. With over 4700 acres to choose from, there's plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the marvelous views that Lone Mountain has to offer.
Today is expected to be a little warmer than yesterday, with temperatures expected to range between 21°F and 37°F under cloudy skies, and winds are expected out of the Southwest at 20- 30mph.
There is a slight chance for a little bit of snow this evening. The snow is fast right now and the action in the terrain park has been fun to watch. Make today your own, whether that means carving up the groomers on Andesite, weaving through the trees on Moonlight, or working on your form as you take on the steeps off of Challenger. Pray for snow but in the meantime, get out there and make the most of what we've been blessed with so far. Turn in those turns in exchange for more freshies. As always remember to stay safe, and have fun out there.

Worth it. You can haul six people in that thing and have room for a keg.

You could easily haul around 3-4 dead gangsters or hookers around with room left over for duffle bags full of drugs and money. A creative CPA might get this written off as a work vehicle.

Surprised to see the North Summit Snowfield open today. It was chalky and fun and there was no wait so I did a couple laps. Props to patrol for getting that terrain open despite the marked lack of snow. Made my day!

Nice work on their part. Last time I had a good look the Rips/Tears area looked mighty skinny.
