I should have been out hunting yesterday but caught the crud that's going around. It's not the 'rona (2 negative tests) but I haven't been this sick in a long fucking time. Fucking horrible.

I'm still seeing Challenger on the menu: "The resort will open with 2,000 skiable acres, serviced by four lifts: Swift Current 6, Explorer, Challenger, and Iron Horse"

I think I have the same thing. I haven't been able to breathe for the last week. My lungs are filled with fluid. At least the fever and chills are gone. Worse than Rona for me.

That's for Thursday. For Wednesday they removed any commitment to opening specific lifts as far as I can tell.

Odd that it is still from the 15th? Not really.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Got it, that's some tough temps to operate at. Hopefully you'll get another crack at one.

In case there are any Livingston lurkers, reminder that the Livingston Backcountry Film Fest is tonight. It's always a rowdy time with good raffle prizes and I inevitably will get too drunk.

I had some fun skiing with Nest. The wind seems to have blown most of the snow to Wilsall (again!) but we managed to find some good pow.
Still a bit rocky but some super good snow in here

Had a nice sunset run yesterday and was surprised the mid mtn wind was still blowing hard

Wind really did some work yesterday. We took a walk yesterday and saw this and then didn't even really ski anything. Thinner than expected anyway. Too old for charging on a foot of base and slalom between boulders but people were having fun. Middle was probably deeper.

They have Andesite open to racers cause the teams are paying. Maybe Dex will show up with a big bag O dicks.???

A birdie tells me BB is contemplating early opening, maybe Friday.

Ski resort marketing is akin to these Instagram apps to turn you into something you’re not.

Seems to thin for a bbowl opening. Not bad for skinners but sustained traffic would grind it down to dirt
