Agree! Really like the way you framed the climber in the first shot combined with the recession of the ridge lines.

Ahhhh yes. Flmr provides 1stskison through 3rdskison. Sounds like the skiing at pig sty has been good chalk. As much as I'd like to get up there, I don't think it's gonna happen. The skiing in the no breeders has been good with this gentle NE kiss from the upper Midwest.

Headed out tomorrow to recreate one of the more memorable tours I had with tone capone years ago. Point it a little longer, hike a little farther, make another lap for Tony tomorrow boys!

Post some pics of tone if ya gottem!

You guys are still killing it. Great pics.

I spent 5 days in the desert riding brown pow and getting a tan. Can't even imagine going skiing again this year.

Also, I guess I am gonna be forced into buying a Big Scree Gold.

RE Tram: I heard base in Rice Bowl, but that really makes no sense unless it the type of tram with a tower and there is some kind of tower above Boner Crusher.

More importantly will the new tram go all the way to Vail? (if you get the reference you are OG maggot status)

Groomers were real nice this morning with the fresh dusting. Did a Snowfield lap with Leftyt, always good to ski with him. Sounds like his group has been slaying the fishing as much as the skiing.

Last tram of my 20/21 season at 3:30 was going to be a solo car till a patroler pulled up and hopped in at the last second. Day 58, not over yet but here's to a season that started out uncertain and ended up being a helluva lot of fun. Cheers!

^^Nice, a solo tram would be something. Lenin wasn't bad today. I thought about another lap, but legs were worked from headwaters laps.

Trail updates in Helena? Would like to go up there Saturday and re-ride the 2019 Helenduro as a training ride for a race I have in 2 weeks.

    Is Mount A dry yet?

It did crack me up when some super angry shred betty (BS legend I'm sure) threw her skis at me in tram line a couple days ago. Weird fuckin place. I'll always be down here for springtime Shredwater's though

95% of the time the vibes are high, but I have encountered the super crusty shred Betty's. "I've been here since 1990!".......Awesome, if I was 60 years old I could have been too

WRG can hook you up with a $100 haircut and beard trim with an accomplished coiffure artiste if you at the Wilson are serious. A couple of neighbors went there and looked snappy afterwards. Too pricey for me but I am frugal.

Kyle does my mullet. Been doing it for a couple years. Get locals discount and no beard trim and you are under $50.

2012 Montana Conditions, Stoke and Whatev Thread

This is a random question and I thought I’d try here, but does anybody have any beta on how much snow is still on the ground at the Colter Bay campground near Moran WY?

Is there typically still snow on the ground there the first weekend in June? We have reservations there the first weekend in June in a pop up with a three year old and a five year old. We have a furnace but can’t go too many nights without shore power. No electric hookups.

    Thanks!
