Skied at that other place today. Damn that was actually fun. Softer snow than I expected off the ridge. Great day.

Dang. I had an hour wait for the covid canister from 11 to noon. My can was full of first timers which was pretty hilarious. If anyone wants to rip, I'm there everyday. Yellow coat, I am Skared sticker on my lid.

Based on how surprisingly soft Bridger was up top yesterday it should be a damn good 8".

Hoping Thin Sky skis as good. Sideways warp speed on the cam is a good thing if you know where to go.

    From the BB website

    Heavy Snowfall

Lifts and terrain will be delayed this morning as our deam (sp) deals with the extreme avalanche hazards from this new snow.

Just went out to start up the truck. It's damn near hot and the bit of snow in town is heavy.

    Be careful Jimbo.

@ WRG, I am hearing a lot of sirens headed to the canyon, might want to check on that before you pull the trigger.

Sun is shining, the Ocho is down, and Shwifty line is out the wazoo. Another great day at Big Dry.

Not a great day when the 8 is down but if T-wolf is running use the special TGR routes to get up Andesite and have it to yourself. PM for details

Just got back. What should have been a great day was frustrating and depressing.

The Ocho down, Challenger down then up then down.

For what is supposed to be a quiet time of the year it was fucking busy as hell and mostly with gapers who could not link a turn.

Even when we get the coverage and can have Shedhorn and Dakota to spread people out I am not sure it will be that big a help.

Pretty killer morning at BB. Patrol had their hands full with control by the sounds of it. South bowl was loaded with debris from above. Didn’t stick around for slushies to open but people were queued up for the sign flip. Easily snagged a reservation at @ 6am. Heard at 8:30 there were 500+ still available. Cars were parked all the way down to J lot at 11am but it never felt that busy. PK line looked stacked up but mostly because people were well spread out. Even saw a mag out there with his Line 115s.

Waffled hard then busted out the 115s. Figured 12% was enough to float and only slightly hit 2 rocks 9-130. Pretty stellar. Regramming one of the bb pics. I'll prolly get sued. If this is what powder days are gonna be like, Holy shit, this year will be awesome (w reservations). Hope they get that slushies to d route open soon. But with what we got, next couple days will be v nice!

After the Holidays, I’ve gotta ease back into this whole work thing. Took the day off to ski Lincolntonvilleburg lines. Stonewall drainage provided the best turns of the season for me thus far.
