    ALL-NEW TRAM EXPERIENCE
The new Lone Peak Tram will come online for the Winter 2023-24 season. Skiers, snowboarders, and scenic riders can look forward to a more spacious cabin, easier loading process, and shorter wait times. With the new Tram will come changes to how it is accessed, making for a better experience as guests explore the top of Lone Mountain.

Per Ride Tram Access - Tram rates will be changing from per-day to per-ride. Rates will be posted daily and will vary dependent on snow conditions, open trails, weather, and visibility.

Yep Gold may be the best bang for the $ with IKON. Especially since they will be charging per tram ride now

Didn't Jackson try this business model back in the '90s?

Gold w/o Ikon for me. Green Pass and paying for tram days has worked well for me this year, but paying per ride will def not work for me.

I was going to ask about Bridger vs Big Sky for snow tomorrow but my daughter slipped and dislocated her knee in the parking lot this AM. Bummed to be missing out

Gold or Gold + Ikon 100%. Honestly I have yet to put my Ikon to use. Gonna use maybe 1 or 2 days at Alpy.....maybe 4 or 5 down in CO super late season in May.

Anybody interested in a Mag meetup on Saturday eve? The FWT final will be broadcast early AM, but perhaps some venue would allow a replay? Cats Paw? Any other obscure location anyone could come up with?

    They don't say but I'd guess $15-25.

I'd be willing to bet that it ends up being close to, if not more than, half of the current day rate. The first ride up is the big sell for tourists, right?

Probably could see a $75 cost for first ride, then cheaper each ride after. A full hundo might be too much even for Big Sky, but you know they’ll try and squeeze as much as they can out of the one-and-done-ers

Lots of days this season tram charge was $30-50, so yeah, $15-25 per ride like I said. Maybe more on super busy days, but those are pretty rare. I think they realized that on a lot of days this year the tram was under-utilized. Lots of walk-on days and very short lines. Great for people like me but not really the sweet spot they are trying to find. And with increased capacity they don't need to use the cost to control the line quite as much.

But who knows. I just hope they get the thing built and it works!

Yes, there was a "chairs only" ticket and a full ticket. You could also buy tram rides.... for $2.

Those single-ride tram tickets were often used around town as tips.

(Inflation adjust from 1990 to today, that's $4.48.)

I'm always down for meeting new folks but I go to bed at like 8 so not sure how that fits into the program.

Speaking of meetups, how about a roll call for today? Who's getting out? Think I'm gonna head down to the Big.
