Driving around the valley today and thinking, "man this place will be so fucked in 10 years".
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

It is not like there aren't flights from DEN and LVS now. United could use some competition from DEN.

I didn't write this. I'm one of the assholes who made too much money selling their house.

I am really surprised that is published in Distinctly Montana, which mostly serves as a vehicle for $$$$$$$$$ real estate ads.

Yeah, I was surprised too. I also had to laugh at the ad for luxury home fixtures at the top of the article. I'm not sure that fit there.

My college roommate was from Colorado, and when he was home he'd work the register at the grocery store in Estes Park. That was an hour commute from his house (each way), but they paid him driving time, and they paid almost twice the hourly wage that he would've made working at any grocery store near his house. Because no one that lived near Estes Park was going to work in a grocery store.

That article makes it sound like Bozeman is heading in that direction.

Going to be a damn good one at LT today: "Good morning Powder Hounds from Lost Trail. It is 5:15am on Feb 26th and the snow continues to fall up here with 10” since closing last night. We did receive 4” during the day on Thursday putting us at 14” of snow in the last 24 hours and 26” of snow since closing on Sunday."

There was a couple other weirdo's in there too. The Electric Booger high-speed pizza'd the whole thing ( he's got kids) and some other dude tried to ski it switch(!) with poor results. Really fun day, wish I could've stayed longer to sample the graupel and more importantly celebrate Pete!

Ugh, I wish we could lap the bowl this weekend. The lady has some family visiting the Big Scree for a week, and even though neither of us want to go we are making the journey since we haven’t seen them since before the pandemic.

Good people and all, but really not stoked about seeing some east coasters fly into the state for their ski trip. If she wasn’t vaccinated + tested weekly for covid we wouldn’t be going. Normally they have a huge group, but they decided to “play it safe” and break into groups of 6-8 people spacing over the next few weeks. Hooray?

I’m sure we’ll find some stoke to post from the visit, but I can hear my skis pleading with me to not put them through the cheese grater...

I've been teaching a 100 level "intro to liberal arts degree and how to maximize ski time" also, "using fafsa to further your ski dreams" that's a 220 level course. And at gallatin college, I've got a course, " Finding the bean; how to keep your working girlfriend happy while you ski everyday"
