Nice. We were at the bottom of Six Shooter when one of the lifties said Powder Seeker just opened. We figured by the time we got over there it would be a shitshow.

Saw elesquiador in the line up and ended up rallying all day.
It's been a while since I've had that much fun skiing the lower mtn.

I don't think I can beat Swimmy up there, but I'm gonna try to be in the lineup by 830 at the latest.

If only I could make it a week without my kid getting me sick from daycare… looking at some nice numbers this morning.

GD was starting to get decent yesterday afternoon, guess I'll brave the shitshow and head up there. Hopefully the cold will keep some folks away but I kinda doubt it.

I love it.

Thanks for the pics, Swimmy! Great skiing with you yesterday.
Crowds are pretty wild at Big Sky today. 6 shooter is down now and I heard they were bussing people to Pony. The base area is packed.
Skiing still good! Still no tram or shedhorn.

2hr wait for the tram? Jeez
I love great divide. Their 8 inches was more like 3. Regardless, untracked and no lines.

Talked to quite a few Bozeman and helena peeps today at Disco. Longest lines I've seen but snow was pretty damn good. Probably too cold for me 2moro.

I’m too poor to ski Big Sky, we’re over here cooking cheesy dogs and skiing mom/pop hills in the sun/cold. Fun anyway. Being alive is fun enough. Zero lift lines per usual.

I mean it was 8 inches in spots...and total windfuckery in other spots.
But yeah, the lack of a shitshow makes up for a lot.
I'm thinking Wednesday will be a good time to sneak back to Big Sky for a good intersection of soft snow, open terrain, and lack of crowds. I did notice they got the tram open this afternoon, was probably epic. Hope swimmy got some good pics!

I think BB should hold off opening slushies until Monday. It's just the responsible thing to do.

Also, the “overnight” lot at big sky was hilarious. I want to know what the official deal is with that place.

What's your windshield going to look like after this winter? My God my truck is getting machine gunned. Why do they call it "sanding" the roads when they're using boulders?
