I know it's early, but if any Gold Pass holders anticipate having an extra buddy day or two, shoot me a pm and I'll take it off your hands. My 8 are going to be spent real quick with my girls suddenly deciding they want to ski over Christmas break. Thx

Showdown opening this weekend. I was up there last weekend, didn't ski, but it looked ok given the time of year. Excited to ski with my kid....that little hill does a good job of working with very little.

    ^^ Thx Bunion.

Liberty actually softened up today. Just felt great to be back skiing on the peak.

Groomers were ripping fast today. Haven't been up top yet. Been skiing with green/blue/black pass holders. Once the snow flies again it's time for the box.

Yeah the groomers were fun. Wife and I caught first chair on Ram and she said it was her "best Elk Park Ridge ever." She has probably never gotten out early enough to ski fresh cord before lol. Then we took a scenic tram and saw mountain goats off on the north side at the top of the snowfield. Snow coverage is looking bleak over there...ugh. Nice bumping into you WRG.

Showdown opening day was actually pretty nice. Good groomers, sunny skies. Obviously need snow because it won’t last.

On another note: I wish the weather guessers would just estimate 50% of what they think it might snow, then they might be remotely accurate. Seems like every storm gets downgraded, always.

I'm leaving for Wisconsin in the morning so hopefully that triggers lots of snow. Had to abandon a campspot outside of Jackson last night due to crazy wind and lots of trees snapping.

Got a work thing this AM. Should be up there midday for scraps.

Is it me or is the summit snotel fucked up?

Looks like the wind sensor is heavily rimed up.

Maybe they are re-vamping it? The slick metal plate in the wind wasn't really working great. I loved it. 2" on there and wind meant there was deep somewhere on the MTN.

Funny, I just came on here to say at least they got rid of the dumbass useless snowstakes this year, but lo and behold I just checked their webcam page and there it was for the first time.

Liberty was deep but pretty tracked once I got there. Still got face shots on 122 underfoot. Early this am was probably sick. I pulled into the lot as Swimmy pulled out lol
