Yeah, a broken down snowcat, broken promises, and a bunch of tired maggots hiking out from 10 miles deep. That's gonna be great

Obviously this man has been cat skiing before. Just described one of my 1st adventures in UT in the way back of time.

POS Thiokol that couldn't climb anything cause no snow roads had been built and then a broken track and about 6 miles of rolling terrain out on alpine gear or walking in knee deep or better snow.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Either it was 1970s and that Thiokol was new, or it was an under invested cheapo snowcat company running inferior/ancient equipment.

Neither, Mid 80s & guy with a ranch East of Park City who had dreams of a snow cat operation. He wanted a professional opinion.

I don't know if anybody is interested in these Seneca skis, but apparently they were made in Bozeman? Collector's item? Dunno.

I bet it was across the mountains from 1,000 Peaks Ranch where Park City Powder cats operates? If so, I talked to that land owner about starting a cat ski business in 2009. Maybe it’s not the same ranch, but this guys terrain was amazing.

    That general vicinity.

New "Red Chair" cam at BB. Basically a snow stake. Probably lots of people will be bent out of shape about it.

Driving in the Sapphires south of highway 38? As far as I can tell there is no MVUM for the area. Trying to figure out what roads are open what are closed etc during this time of year aka prior to Dec 1 when many currently open roads are closed for the winter.
