Me and the Missus are flying out of BZN tomorrow afternoon and were thinking of rolling out of Teton Valley a little early to be able to grab a nice quick lunch somewhere in Bozeman before our flight at 2pm. She is a Gluten Free foodie - any recommendations?? TIA

I'd say the Gravel Bar in Ennis. Airport is far from downtown. But I'm not a MT local, only pretend from time to time.

Last time I caught a flight out of Bozeman we ate at Rice Fine Thai in Belgrade. Kind of a hole in the wall place but surprisingly good IMO. I think most Thai food is gluten free..

OK, looking for some local help.

My furnace is out. 4 years old and the control board is fried, at least according to the company that I paid 3500 dollars to install it. They were nice enough to come out and trouble shoot it and only charge me $210 for the 30 minutes of the Techs time.

The quote they sent me is for another $ 1100.00 to order the board and come put it in. Or I can sign up for their preferred contract service plan at $ 268 a year and they will knock 10% off and be my friend.

I have located a board and can have it here next day air for $ 388.00.

Anyone know an HVAC tech in the area who would like to do the work for cash in hand? Going to have a look on You-Tube, looks fairly simple.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

The girlfriend and I have been gluten free for many years. Rice thai is OK. Thai Basil much better. Head chef is actually gluten free and they have the most extensive gf menu in the valley I think, as well as GF deserts. Also csnt go wrong with backcountry burger or mountains walking (really good gf pizza).

I bet you can figure it out on the YT. Should really only be a few wires, no?

^This. Especially if you have your old controller in place.

Have a puff and focus… Remove the old one taking some pictures of how things were installed. Puff again… install the new one in reverse order. If it doesn’t work, blame the puff.

Just got off the phone with a smaller HVAC in Belgrade. $ 500.00 including parts, get it fixed tomorrow. I said SIGN ME UP!!!!

    McLees HVAC your rock!

Yes I could probably reverse it but the new part comes with a 2 yr warranty and the POM of knowing some guy who knew what he was doing installed it and if he fries it he replaces it.

    Mclees is a good outfit.

Speaking of warranties, if the furnace is only 4 years old, you should still be under the manufacturer warranty.

Yes, I should. Except my dump is a Manufactured home and the warranty is 2 years on parts rather than 5 if it was stick built.

If it's the same Thai Basil as in Big Sky I'm going to have to respectfully disagree.

The touch of snow and mostly hero dirt riding in Big Sky was phenomenal today.

Played what is likely my last round of the sesaon today at Cottonwood. Place was empty, ball hunting was excellent and the 420 in the shelters would have done Harry proud.

It is now the end of October +- and time for some fall weather. It has been a glorious couple of months and almost made up for the smoke this summer.

Always wanted to rent one of the lookouts. Did a big loop south of Bozeman on Sun/Mon and stayed in one of the cabins with some buddies. Nothing better than an off grid cabin and the wind howling and the stove going. Saw a shitload of sign and passed on cows at 130yds knowing several bulls in the area. Hiked out last night after 22 miles and just wrecked. The 3rd guy in our party is staying all week. "Bull down" on the inreach at 7pm last night. Fuck! Might be putting in more miles tonight.

If anyone has a burley type cart thing that can attach to an MTB with a standard 12x148 boost thru axle let me know.

My usual spots have been a bit off this year. Not sure if the lack of cold weather have not pushed them down yet. North of Helena definitely had some activity though.

They are high for sure. We were seeing fresh sign up to 8k feet yesterday before the snow came in.
