I might try to find a place today for it. Maybe get up a little higher for it on Flathead or at Johnson creek trailhead.

Mrs Griz and I thank you for the Yellowstone and camping tips. The park was beautiful and not very busy (except for camping spots, due to most camping being closed for the season). That old buffalo took his time walking over the highway. He looked like his knees feel like mine do, and this might be his last winter around.

Yellowstone is the best. Glad you had a nice experience!

Speaking of Yellowstone...I don't talk much about work here but some of you know that I work in the flooring business. We just completed a remodel of the Old Faithful Lodge using a custom wool carpet that we manufacture in Turkey. This is one of the more iconic buildings in our Park system and I'm really stoked on how it turned out.

Design and manufacture. Most of our manufacturing is in the Southeast but we make our wool in Turkey.

Installation is handled by a sub contractor but I have technicians that will travel and help the installer start-up a tricky or unique project.

Here is another such project. This is the House of Reps Chamber at our Capitol. For the past couple of years that building has been undergoing a major renovation and we provided all of the flooring. This is the House of Reps Chamber.

We make all kinds of flooring though. Walk into any new or recently remodeled Town Pump and you are walking on my flooring. It is a hybrid floor made of ground up stone. This is their new flagship store on Huffine here in Bozeman.

^^^^ When I walked into that new location I made sure to pay attention to the floor knowing you were behind it. Looks like nice shit!

Summer is still Yellowstone's Busy season -

I remember Promo.s for Lone Mountain Ranch in the 1970s - when BigSky was *New*.

I wouldn't say lmr was originally Nordic, But they did recognize that opportunity and 'rode that wave' -

That area is too busy for me now -
I'd like to do Great Divide, Maverick, and Lost Trail next March ( on my way to Blacktail )

    Rock On, yates.!

Never thought I'd say "hey there is an axe murderer on the loose in the canyon." Craziness. Has to be a "owed me money/banged my girl/drug deal sour" thing?

Pretty wild stuff. On first glance the dude seemed pretty normal. Just a hard working guy from the valley. Who knows though. Could have fallen in with a bad crowd or tried to make a quick buck and dealt with the wrong people etc etc. Sad.

Axe murder stuff isn’t rational behavior for even drug dealers.

I’m obviously no criminal minds investigator, but shooting someone is way easier and quicker.

This is either a crazy revenge killing, or a psychopath at work.

Unless said drug dealer/person has been wrecked off crystal for 96 hours and has no idea what the fuck is going on.

The 'bad' Bozeman crowd? i thought that was the tech workers from Cali. You saying maybe he owed money from a gucci purse sale and some Sheels boots that he couldn't afford and it all spiraled from there?
