to summarize data from earlier in this thread, as J's chart is unclear. Dyna Vert ST heels: 8 M5x10mm button heads. Dyna Vert FT heels: 8 M5x12mm Flathead.
I also managed to mount some STH10's with the screws I had in my kit. I will have to take it off to confirm what screws I used.

I know there was some discrepancy on the length of fasteners for Speed Radical heels, and it's my opinion that the 8mm are too short. I measure a little less than 3.5mm of the fastener protruding, meaning the 10mm would put you at 5.5mm, which is about ideal.
My 0.02
Shit... my sentiment is genuine but my numbers were off. I bought 8mm fasteners and they are short... 10mm is correct. Updated my post.

Thanks guys, I updated the list to reflect the vertical ST/FT difference, fixed the radical heels, and added the 7tm bindings.

What is the correct Marker Duke EPF screw length / type?
Binding freedom website says 10mm flathead.
Searching this thread I found 8mm.

Any need to freeze vibratite after opening like loctite 425? Or is that unnecessary for the loctite also?

MrSmith
CSK is short for countersink and is our name for your flatheads. I think there was a missing '/'. No idea about the lengths though.

Loctite 425 (Cyanoacrylate) is supposed to be kept refrigerated, but NOT frozen: http://www.loctite.co.th/tht/content...Shelf_Life.pdf
Either way, loctite usually specifies 12 month shelf-life. That's probably extremely conservative.
Vibra-tite claims 5 year shelf-life, room temp storage is fine, just keep it from drying out before application: http://www.vibra-tite.com/products/v...-3-threadmate/
They claim it lasts indefinitely once applied.

With VC3 coated screws you'll get 2/3 install/removal cycles before the screws need recoating. Although the threads can look a little bare you'll find that VC3 is still left within the threads in the insert.

Damn there's so many possible places to put this but this seemed the most relevant:
Heads up for users of plates, inserts, etc in Seattle:
Pacific supply co. on cap hill has an abundance of metric screws. Some appear identical to my worn out binding freedom ones. Variety of head shapes, styles, lengths etc. And cheap.

does any one know what the screw length and head type for the new TLT speed radicals are? The information seems to be for the older binding and the new one looks a bit different.

I have some questions. Getting ready to convert all of our old and new skis over to BF inserts. I measured all of my bindings and screws by hand to see what I needed, and have run into a few problems.
For Pivot 18s, I measured two of the rear lowheads to be 20mm long with 7mm protruding. Should I just get the 20mm ones and cut them down. I don't like cutting machine screws though, it can be hard to get them to thread cleanly after.
Also I have 3 pairs of STH2s I'm doing. For the rear, the smallhead screws are 24mm long, and protrude 8mm. Should I try and get 22mm smallheads or 20mm smallheads? But then neither of those sizes are available, so I don't know what to do.
In general with my other bindings too- if the original screws protrude 8mm, should I get machine screws that are 2mm or 4mm shorter? The chart on the website honestly doesn't mesh well with my measurements and screw types. Any help is welcome.

Conventional binding screws are designed to protrude 9mm from the underside of the binding whereas 5mm protrusion is ideal for the QK/BF machine screws.
