Technically speaking the snow is at Baker and Whistler and some interior BC, oh and Alaska
I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

That is one of the most depressing pictures I've seen. BC is doing alright but the last round of storms dumped rain waaaay up high.

Don't want to get anyones hopes up, but the ensembles are starting to favor a pattern change early next week... lots of buzz in the weather forums and on NOAA. Hopefully winter is coming!

It's coming. There is going to be a shift, or "correction" if you will, and it's going to fucking DUMP in all the right places and life will return to normal. I promise!

It has been dumping here in the PNW ...5 feet in past 4 days and not done yet.
From Crystal:
"HIGHWAY 410 IS CLOSED, but we are open! Several trees are over the road, land lines are down and cell phones are patchy. 410 is expected to be closed for a couple more. The lifts are operating, and it feels like a private mountain today. The telemetry is down and snowfall totals are estimated. Today's snow will be wind-affected with extremely deep pockets in wind deposited areas and protected aspects. We've received over four feet of snow in the past five days! Please ski and ride with a visible partner. Updated: 1/19/12 12:24 p.m."
