    I love Christmas time

I don’t think you’ll find It on the list of holiday cocktails but that’s not the point. It’s about spreading good cheer and Tom Collins knows how to spread it.

    Cheers counselor.

Thought I'd share my mom's old Christmas drink recipe. A family and friends favorite. You need a big container, she used to use an old 1 gallon ice cream bucket.

    Mom’s Hot Buttered Rum Recipe

1 quart French Vanilla Ice Cream
    1 pound powdered sugar
    1 pound butter
    1 pound brown sugar
    2 teaspoon Nutmeg
    2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Let ice cream and butter sit until soft. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Freeze.

    For each drink:
    3 tablespoons of batter
    1 shot of rum
    4 oz of hot water
    Sprinkle with Nutmeg

The Santa Clause is great too. Love the animated reindeer.

I really only like the first one, will watch the 2nd but not the 3rd.

The Santa Clause is a good one. Tim Allen was good casting.

    You want a creepy snowman?

Check out this year’s Christmas commercial from our friends at Coors.

I've got a week of solid heavy lifting to tie everything down before the holidays. Working through the 22nd but should be slow by then. Off Dec 23rd until Jan 6th. Gonna be the nicest beak I've had in awhile. Last year we were battling COVID over the holidays. Got off work a bunch without having to burn PTO but locked down at home with sick wife unable to go anywhere or do anything fun.

^ awesome when you consider we're batting about 10% on the micro outdoor lights working from last year :-/

Great xmas party over the weekend has got me fired up for shopping today. We sponsor a family's christmas every year, a program we do through our sunday school class and an elementary school that is on the fringe of our area. When the requests went out this year I responded "go big or go home" so MT/Mrs MT are buying for a family of nine. Cheers MT

Excellent. We're also trying to help folks out. I watched our next door neighbors get served an eviction notice a couple weeks ago. Landlord said they hadn't paid a dime in over a year. They're dirt poor working odd jobs not nearly enough to earn a real living. Sitting around drinking in the front yard then fighting every other night But, they have two elementary school aged kids there :-( I've already spoked with social services about that situation several times to no avail. We will be anonymously dropping off a box of appropriate aged toys and clothing on their porch late Christmas Eve. We did the same last year. I suspect they're getting kicked out Jan 1st.. God help them to get sober and grow up.. But, just trying to help the kids where we can.
