Huh, that is literally the first time i've ever heard that reference (aside from Piper about an hour ago).
Assumed he was referring to "There be dragons", which is a BH reference to a line on the cleaver AFAIK.

Someone can go find my bombhole, but from what I remember we were hugging pretty tight up against the Cleaver on the Stokes side. I stayed pretty high right but did make a few turns and was, at one point, looking down at my buddy G below in what I thought was Ghost Bowl but was really Stokes proper. I passed-up a last-chance left-hand ramp to join him and came around the corner to a gnarly gully composed of mainly a frozen waterfall. There was a single skier track in that zone that went to the edge and sidestepped back up and retraced itself back out. With a spotter below who said it was "gnarly" but "probably doable", I slow-rolled to the edge and did my best plinko impersonation down the wall. It was a longer fall that I was expecting and I definitely bounced off a few things on the way down, but the alternative was going fat to pretty flat and by the time I was on the edge there was no hiking out.

Glad you are ok. When my already limited Alpental BC knowledge is rusty I get really scared below Stokes bowl unless I am with one of the regulars that hits that area frequently .I followed Miracle Matt who is supposed to know that area a few years ago and we got major cliffed out in Ungo ? Mushroom? area and we were damn lucky not to have gotten hurt after our ugly descent.

Stayed high right coming out below the Cleaver but not high enough to catch Wally's. Got cliffed-out on the left wall of the Pincher. Wasn't alone, buddy was down below, scraped as low as I could go and sent it in but caught something in the landing. Right arm has a baseball-sized bruise on it and my left knee smashed my beacon into my ribcage. No idea what scraped my right cheek & lip, could've been my pack or even jacket zipper. I am one sore knuckledragger today.

Norseman caught this hawt photo of me as we assessed my situation on the return trail below Trash Can. The goggles were down during takeoff & landing, but up on the return trail as my pupils needed checking

dang, man. glad you're okay. stay in one piece so we can finally ride again next year.

You could have called ski patrol for that
I have a responsibility to not be intimidated and bullied by low life losers who abuse what little power is granted to them as ski patrollers.

Depends on who you send out. Followed a group of patrol last week holding up the trail and no clue where there were going.

I don't need a beatdown from folks in redcoats - a group of drunk Russian snowboarders after dark will do just fine

Anyone heading up for a chilly night session? Say hi if you see a dipshit with orange pants and an entertaining Ikon lanyard display.

PS - I hope the groomer-ing is up to crustal standards

Baker Bob and his rig in his personal lot 3. Cold and windy with lots of soft wind pockets of untracked all around. Long sections of untracked available for anyone willing to hike above piss pass. It felt like less than 30 skiers on the mountain.

Props to Baker Bob for being patient with my Snowboarder buddy on the high T and guiding us through some terrain that I am rusty with. It takes character to wait 20 minutes at piss pass in 30mph wind when it is 18 degrees outside.

If he guided you thru the Financial District does that make him Banker Bob?

ACH said if what I crashed down on Sunday looked doable to me then I'd have no problem with Ungo Alley. I respectfully disagree...

Fun night but I bailed at 7:45 when both sets of cheeks were tingling. The (wind) grooming was fantastic.
