Is there a movie out worth seeing tonight?

Yeah, yeah, Movies, Books, Music, I get it. But I'm talking about tonight, wife wants to go see a flick and I haven't even heard of most of them.

Saw Margin call last night, pretty damn good for being from such a young writer and director. Highly reccommended. A few minor glitches in the storyline/pacing, but it's like 'wall street' meets 'Glengarry Glenross'...

Scorcese's 'Hugo' is supposed to be quite good.

See if anywhere is playing "The Artist". I have heard it is amazing. Not sure if it is released nationwide yet.

Took me to page 3 of theaters to find even one i'd consider going to...but i'm not a big out-to-the-movie-theater-goer.

That actually sounds pretty cool. And there's a good Thai place right there. That'll work, thanks.

"My Week With Marilyn" was pretty good. Great performance by Michelle Williams.

Otherwise, I'd pick "Hugo" which I haven't seen.

I only watch films at home these days. The theatre projectionists refuse to pause the film when I have to pee.

So what did you go see?

    Of what was listed

Moneyball is good, but it would be easy to just wait for it to come out on DVD
J Edgar is also good is you don't have an issue with supporting Mat Damon

I really want to see the Muppets.

Also, Cowboys and Aliens delivered exactly what I wanted from it when I saw it in theaters over the summer. Disengage brain and enjoy air conditioning.

My guess is there is very little actually worth $12 and a $5 popcorn you have to pick out of your teeth for the next 3 days.
    No longer stuck.

You leave the theater to pee? I thought that was the whole point of the darkened room + stadium seating + hard floor coverings...
