30 minutes to the base of the lift at Snowbowl. BC options are ~one hour. Lucky

20 mins front door to lift line to either the 2 mountains. Once I learn the route, I can ski home from one but I have been lazy it that regard.

2 miles to a closed ski resort (woot-woot)
14 miles to the best ski resort in the country
& out my front door to the one of the best BC scenes in the country as well."In a perfect world I'd have all 10 fingers on my left hand, so I could just use my right hand for punching."

1.5hrs drive to excellent family resort lift served, 1hr drive to some of the continent's best heli-served, .5 pavement + .5 sled access to the local's secret powder stash, ~.5 plowed access to unlimited highland meadow skipping, XC out the front door.

Lift serve: 45 minutes to Mission Ridge or Stevens Pass
Ski Touring at or above treeline: within 15-20 minutes
Hiking for short glade skiing or XC: My driveway
Also have excellent ski touring when snowpack is good behind my office. Can practically skin from office door to summit of small peaks in less than an hour. Great lunch break distraction.

For lift served, depends on which side of the Tetons, 1 hr 45 min to the ghee, 2 hr 15 min to the village with good roads. Decent BC in probably 20 min in the Centennials, better in the Tetons. XC out the front door.

I do. However, we've only lived here a few years. I just skied Hoodoo yesterday for the first time since....1975.
Yes I am old
