Deepest 3" storm ever.
Still a shit load of rocks off Cirque traverse but manageable.
Shitshow in Mineral as usual.

Even in an 800" winter there are rocks on the cirque traverse.
Snowbird is just too core/too big of a mountain to lay down rubber mats like they do at Piss Pass!!!!!

God Bless Snowbird Ski Patrol!
Apparently I did. Guilty of favoring the back side cirque runs.

Can we delete this sad thread now.......
I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

All you doubters should receive one year ban and be forced to ski deer valley, then you will miss the bird
Calling it right now, no fluke. 120" in March and "100 in AprilI need to go to Utah.

I'll be a very happy camper (and Bird passholder) if you're right. That said, Deer Valet is what it is, but they do have some great trees that will still ski very deep from this storm even at this time next week. I'm willing to bet even Tiger Tail is completely thrashed by now at the 'Bird.

more often than not that is correct but someone else once said you've got to know where to go and when. got a friend in from pa this week and have been finding fresh lines all day if you don't mind the trees.
anyway, shouldn't be anyone crying this week. super fun out there. lots of smiling faces. especially love to see that shit!
be safe. heard about the snowbasin slide today. hope everyone's ok.

i'll remember this day for year's to come.
so much snow, felt like we were in the 'white room' all day!
they way under reported on the snow totals.
i mean that had to be close to two feet.
i even ran into 'slagg 'master' at one point.
what a daycrab in my shoe mouth

^^ Skied my last run through Keyhole by myself at ~1:30pm yesterday. Didn't see that until I got home. Damn. Guess I shouldn't have forgotten my beacon in the car.

Stupid Snowbird and all its traffic. Alta traffic didn't get moving until 7 o'clock on Sunday. Fortunately there was a kick ass birthday party that I was able to finally refuel at. The whole canyon backup is all because of Snowbird.
