OFFICIAL: SNOWBIRD CRY BABY THREAD
this is the place folks to bitch and moan about snowbird. half of the official bird thread is people complaining, so if you are pissed about something put it here, it might just make the "official bird" thread obsolite though with less bitching.

its those same fuckers complaining that would end up suing the shit out of the bird if they hit some rock and fucked themselves up..
That place has a ton of rock and very thin cover. trust me..they are trying to keep your asses safe.

If you don't like the bird please stop skiing there. That will make me happy if less complaing people quite skiing there more powder for me.
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

Do I have to stick to the list, or can I complain about interlodge and slow opening of the terrain on 30" days too?

You forgot something from the list---Bob Bonnar---douche bag of the century. One of the many problems in LCC.

The cliff spa isn't as large as the 20k square footage Stein Eriksen Spa, or the 35k square footage Montage Deer Valley spa.
but really creek side whatever restaurant sucks. Mid-gad 4 lyfe
I hope you are just referencing the unified patrol having a presence on LCC road, and not actual ski cops. Because they don't exist

^^^So you've not seen the uniforms and dogs on the plaza??? Seen a guy that got apporached and they wanted to search his backpack because the dog was like all over him. The Alta town marshal has been known to patrol on skis as well.
You need to get out more.Johnny's only sin was dispair

What happened to Snowbird and Alta? Back in the day they used to be such fun places to ski and party at. My uncle used to be the Alta marshal in the 80s and would not have even thought about hassling people on the mountain. As for Snowbird, my mother worked there for over 20 years and I basically grew up there. Now I can hardly stand the place, competition for powder is out of control, they will not be happy until they have roller coasters and shitty lifts on every ridge adjacent to there property. That shit show in the summer is an abomination. I guess I am getting old and cranky, but give us back our canyon and stay out of our sacred backcountry (what little remains). The place is a marketing joke now.

What has happened since the 80s is a lot of population growth. Rats living to tightly get irritable.
You have to be one dumb ass to get busted for pot at either Alta or SB. Smoking on the chair is a biggie. Think stealth, and the problem goes away. Plenty of places to do your thing or not. Be smart about it, don't cause issues, that sort of thing.Johnny's only sin was dispair
