FWIW, I strongly recommend Chanca Piedra from Peru (extract in capsules). I use it every 3mos or so to break up any building stones, before they reach critical mass. It's cheap and works. I used it with my 2nd stone, no more since.

A bottle is $15, but you can get a grand for it if someone you know gets a stone.

Biking the Camino de , 2 days out of Santiago telebabe passes a stone at 2 am, got to a doc in the AM who said your Camino is over BUT we got back on the bikes the next day and made it to Santiago in a really bad rain storm

apparently a kidney stone is more painful than child birth

I am unable to compare the two, but it was the worst pain I have ever felt. To be fair, I have lived a mostly twisted and contorted life and not a broken and battered one.

    Just reading this thread hurts.

Pain was an 11/10...and that was about a year ago. But on the plus side....wife hasn't used 'birthing your children was worse than _______" since, which is nice.

Lemon water daily seems to help. Felt two sharp kidney pains on Friday while laying in bed....and got kind of freaked out again. PTSD for sure.

Your spelling is excellent. So is dilaudid.
