The murdered-out Hagan ATK rebrands of whatever raider 12 iteration they are look pretty great. Also the more of my own fucking bindings I mount I think the slower and more anal I get. Nailed these ones though so worth the fuss.

True, but fiberglass composite laminates are at their weakest when stressed, and ramming in a screw does that. Tighter fit does not necessarily mean greater pullout strength.

I think it works well for maritime (higher moisture content) snowpacks and is great if you don't wax your skis often and have the money. We are also running two cure stations full time. I would have done 3 pairs this season except for the backlog of paying customers; last season I did 2 pairs of my own skis.

I thinks there's a thread with my ramblins
It doesn't hurt cept core shots are a bit more difficult to bond
It helps more so warm wet spring

But no the never wax again dental sauce ain't
Gonna stop the tech with well waxed and tuned skis from blowing by you on the flats
Even the dps rep admitted that the never wax again thing was stupid
But whose gonna pay that for a wax enhancer
I will say I've probably done a few hundred
And no one has said this is bullshit and asked for a refund
And if Bob I never wax my skis MC says it works
    That says a lot

Where I notice it is on our 2 week bc hut trip road trip
When I dont got paid to wax my skis on the reg
And I doubts I'll ever work for a shop that can't afford an uv future waxer
I don't mind old school scraping at home but that shits becoming as outdated as dripping p tex candles

Exactly. When Phantom first came out I tried it on a pair of skis I took to Austria for 2 weeks, and that sold me.

I also kinda like the time I spend waxing as long as it’s not 11pm the night before I’m leaving on a trip. Super relaxing.

Anyone know the limit on the extension arms for the heel piece on a pivot? After spending a bit more time making sure my forward pressure was correct, I’m pretty sure I’m on the edge here with the existing mount location.

I can see all three bands and right on the edge of seeing threads. Is there an official limit suggested by Look? I can’t seem to find that info, but I’m sure I have read it in the past.

One somewhat stiff spinner on a P18 mount... Must have drilled a bit crooked. Anything to be concerned about? Or just run it

Mounted pivots onto some fucking skis and the arms have contact on the ski boot as shown.

Don't worry and drink another beer or fire up the angle grinder and make some room on the boot?

I have 3 setups with pivots and they all touch the arms with both pair of boots I have. I swear I recently stumbled upon some literature for pivot/fks that showed there was supposed to be contact there, but I can't find it again so I could be mistaken. Don't grind your boots.

Late to the party on this. I see no need for a 4.1mm bit if you own a 12AB tap.

    Here's why ...

You should always tap metal (you knew that). The good news is that you can tap a hole drilled with a 3.6mm bit. Ergo, you'll never drill too large a hole if all you use is a 3.6 ;-)

Yeah it's like another "click" (1/2 turn?) and I see threads which seems like I'm pushing it. Is the intent of the hashes that the innermost and outermost are the limits of adjustment? Does anyone know the official word on that? Any techs in here?

First time messing with brand new pivots and the dildo seems to rotate a bit harder/less with the boot clicked in but the forward pressure indicator is right on, it passes the flips up at 50% test, and the slight movement of brakes when you lift the press on the boot trick. Seems to be set similar to my others just rotates less. If I have to back these off any more to get the correct forward pressure, I think a mount is in order.
