Mounted my own fucking skis. Probably going to change those heavily used bindings to a new pair I´m hopefully getting later this week...

Are they really as stiff as Blister claims they are?

I think that scale is skewed a bit. If they had skied it I think the review would be different.

As others said they really aren't that stiff. Nice and even flex though. Just flexed these and my 15/16 Bonafides (180, closer to 100 days skied) and other than very tip of the ski Bones are stiffer

About the x106 flex, I actually agree with Blister: the tip and first bit of shovel are fine. The rest is stiff.

For reference I have a monster 98 and monster 83. The 83 is way stiffer than the 98. The 98 is not stiff but firm, round, tip to tail. The x106 tails are def stiffer than the m98's and feel pretty similar hand flexing to the 83's.

Haven't mounted my own fucking skis yet, but it looks like I could ski this 2x6 if I really wanted to. Rear adjustment screw of the heel is maybe 3mm off of my centerline, but once I got the adjustment gist I rushed through the heel just for proof of concept. I think it's been linked before, but I like Lou's recommendations for double and triple checking alignment.
