I mean on a renegade boot toe(which is generally chord center)mount a 280mm soled boot is gonna be @ -14 from true center
He doesn’t mean that the toe should be at cord center. More that the recommended mounting point is based upon where the toe of the boot should land on the ski. Therefore if you use his formula the toe of the boot regardless of size should land in the same place.

    We got it figured out.
That's why I later stated that 4frnt should have just put a boot toe mark @ 102(.2) or a graduated scale like K2 used to use. Way simpler

So fiberglass roof insulation is referenced countless times in the thread for spinner repairs.

Any reason why roof insulation? Can I just go grab a pinch from my basement wall to chop up and call it good?

That's what I do. There's some exposed in a closet in my basement, pink Fiberglass batt insulation.

My second time mounting skis. Harder than the first. The centerline/-1/-2/etc is a different tape pull measurement from the tail, and one of the previous mounts was off which threw my off a little at first.

Super goat instructions. Go really fast and if anything gets in your way go through it, or air off it.

Looks like you were super fucking high and got your bindings mixed up. You’ll figure it out when you sober up and you’ll have a have a few more holes to dodge.

I have a pair of skis that have two mounts both for 306 bsl. The first was a pair of Jesters that were not GW compatible, the second mount is a pair Shifts, I had to move back 1cm due to hole conflicts.

Now I want to take the Shifts off ( I will never tour on these skis and it is a waste having them on the skis).

I want to do this on the cheap, so my options are

    1. Get a pair of Jesters that are GW compatible (not so cheap) and reuse the old holes
    2. Get a pair of Attacks and drill a third set of hole.

So my question is, should I drill a third set of holes and is it even possible without drastically moving the new mount forward or backward?
I pulled the shifts off the skis and this is what I have. If I move forward 2cm from boot center this is were the new holes will be (pivot 15s)

Should I have any concerns on hole placement or the amount of holes in the ski?

    Thanks in advance

They are. Lots of fun to ski. I haven used them lately, looking to get back on them.

Is that 6cm forward or back from boot center or ski center?

The clearance from existing holes looks good but you look off center to the right or the previous are left of center.
