fucking shop used the wrong color plugs when they remounted my Coombas

the skis are black, mostly, and they used white hole plugs - there is one section of blue, too - don't they make plugs in, like, colors? couldn't they at least TRY to match them up?

I'm pretty sure that it won't impact performance, but I thought I'd see if anyone else has had this problem before? according to foggygoggles, shop techs are busy smoking a lot of weed these days

I think at the very least the shop owes you a new set of holes. FWIW I usually number and tape color swatches at specific hole locations. If they get it wrong I often burn the owner's house down.

Those fuckers said I never told them what color I wanted my plugs to be, so it's my fault. They said they'd help me out, but I am going to have to pay for it.

They have the proper plugs in stock, which is nice, but they told me they are going to have to order the holes from the factory or something. With the holiday and all, it might take a while before they can install the new holes.

Fuck, you think that's bad, the shop I went too used square plugs in the round holes. I made them buy me a new set of skis, drill new holes, and then plug them properly.

Plugs come in all colours. You have to match the colour to the flex, core material and days of use for them to work properly. the shop guy did you a favour.

I've got a set of toe holes you can have for pretty cheap if you want them but you're going to have to find the heel holes somewhere else, my parts bin if fresh out of those...

You will find that shop techs will always color-match your hole plugs if you are cool with them.
If not, it's rainbow colors for you!

Honestly, most shops just use "clear" plugs for everything.

I have some heel holes but just Salomon 4 holes, not with the STH 5th hole, you would have to get that elsewhere. This is the tough part about getting holes on the internet. I did know a guy who has a buddy who says his cousin's girlfriends roommates boyfriends half brother can get a "Bro" deal on some Look PX racing holes...but that was like 3 seasons ago...I can look into it..after the holidays.
