And med shops have the better goods at this point than rec shops - same as CO. Plus it is usually 30-40% cheaper. I think the whole pnw price dynamic will change in 4 wks when OR is live w/rec. And change even further when CA follows. 200$ ounces will be the norm, but the boutique goods will always be pricier.]

It all comes down to how you pay your taxes. Through an unlimited one year subscription paid annually in advance (aka MMJ card) or pay the tax on each purchase. WA has been stupid with its absurdly Effective high tax - like 38%? - so it doesn't take a lot of purchases to cover the MMJ fee. OR is gonna tax at around 17.5% ($35/oz on $200 ozs), with at least three months tax free.

CO (rate=15%) took in 8x more tax revenue than WA in their twelve mos of legalization, despite a lower population. Object lesson in tax policy right there

And yes indeed the WA medical stores have a much better selection. I was disappointed in the two WA rec stores I patronized. Bobby and NW_Skier spoiled me with cheap gummy bears

Medical and recreational are separate because of taxes.

But you have to register with the FBI if you want the small tax reduction. You can still buy at dispensaries until July 2016. But only flowers essentially. If you want oil you either have to go to a rec store and pay a fukton or buy in in the BM. Which its going for about $800 an ounce of you know where to find it for any quality.

I'm in the process of finding keepers for a larger op.


I've decided to do two 10x10 tents, and flip flop them. I am probably going to run 8k in each tent, with maybe a couple 400w Ceramic Metal Halides to fill out the spectrum. While one tent is dark, the other is on.

30 plants in each tent, in 5 gallon smart pots. I am using the moisture formula ready gro, and the H3ad formula. Bloombastic. (BTW, I can add to that feeding regimen if you want to delve a little deeper. I would also stick with C99 again, and knock one out of the park. Unless you want a new flavor.)

If I am running 8k, I hope to get about 2 per 1k. If I hit 15 per tent Ill still be happy.

Any recommendations on which shops have a nice cartridge selection in Colorado? Not looking to make it to the Denver/Boulder area. I've enjoyed the RMR carts in the past, but I found the potency to be lacking a bit.

About the gorilla glue v4.0
As a go to strain, I think it is a little harsh to burn
and it has a strangely different smell.
I've been sitting on some for about 6 weeks.
People think it's great but don't come back for it.
Not like GSC.
We need more true skunks around here.
